For those of you who do not know me very well, here is one tidbit of information -> I like to write. Incessant scribbling is my hobby. Gathering ideas and putting them down on paper (even if nothing goes into print) is what I love to do.
During the winter months this is difficult for me because weather means I have to stay locked in a house in close proximity to other people/sounds, but come the spring, summer and fall when the weather is cooperating, I spend most of my time in the confines of our breezeway with my netbook. It is there that I get my most pleasure. We have a portable heater that I move around to my feet and a host of lap rugs that I can use if the mornings (my most productive time) proves to be a bit on the chilly side. The morning seems to be my best time – when the rest of the world is still sleep or just starting to stir. When the dew is on the lawn and the deer are creeping out of the neighbours gardens back into the shade of the forest. And the chair in the corner behind the huge rhodo allows me to safely hide away so no one else knows I’m there. I can write in peace. Or just sit, sipping my tea and soak up the day.
