If you won the lottery
If I won the lottery, I think I’d still do what I do for a living … only part time. I’d stay where I am, live where I live, do what I do, contribute/donate more, worry less, relax more, slow down more, and enjoy life more. Wow. How boring I am. LOL
Oh but the trips I’d take. Lately I’ve been enamoured with the thought of renting a bike and riding in South Africa and in Australia. I have no idea why, but these two places appeal to me greatly. I think it’s because they would be so very different from where I am.
But first, before I do that – I always said that before I go traveling too far afield, what kind of Canadian would I be if I hadn’t at least made an attempt to visit the majority of my own country first? I realize Canada is pretty big, and I’ve been to quite a few of the western provinces, – even made a foray into Ottawa in Ontario (which I should do more to visit family there ), but the eastern provinces look so intriguing. I have seen so many documentaries and shows on motorcycling on the East Coast that I want to do that – sooooon
Probably the only thing I would do different to you would be volunteer work instead of working part time in my current job.
Interesting how you want to come here to Oz-trail-ya 🙂 I’ve always wanted visit Canada. I’ve seen a few doco’s about Jasper and surrounds. Currently we are getting ads on TV about the Rocky Mountaineer, it looks pristine. Dunno about the train but I’d love to ride those roads some day.
