Imagine

But on a motorcycle….. I thought that was obvious. Lol
It’s the time of the year where a person looks back and takes stock. 2022 was an interesting time.
This is the end of the year. And it’s been an interesting one. I’ve gained friends and lost them. I’ve checked off items in my bucket list and added some more.
Mentally it’s been a bit of a roller coaster. Unfortunately it’s been more valleys than highs when it comes to my career. But on the other side it’s been more highs in my personal life. I know it’s supposed to balance itself out but when I spend more time at work than off – things get to be a tad off balance.
All in all it’s been a good year -> better than the previous ones. Covid played havoc on quite a few things.
Now we are rounding the bases to start 2023. And I’ve started another list for this year.
Hopefully I’ll see you in the future- until then have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.
Riding weather is around the corner
You might be cool, but are you ‘Clint Eastwood on a Norton’ cool?
Long time no hear. But for a good reason. I’ve been riding!
This year was a bit of a banner year and the weather is still proving to be warm and sunny. For the past few weeks, my valley has been the hot spot in Canada on numerous occasions. Today it was 27 C – a quick conversion to Fahrenheit is to double that and add 28. Which means that riding season has been longer.
I started the riding season off with just a tad over 31,000 km and just rolled over to 43,600 km. Quite an accomplishment. And I completed the Iron Butt Saddle Sore – just waiting for my verification on that one.
This year saw a banner year for the Port Alberni Toy Run. The last few years have been surreal due to COVID and the weather. 2021 saw 400 bikes. 2022 saw over 1100 bikes show up because of gorgeous weather and people who just wanted to come back together and enjoy themselves.
There are a number of website that do this justice but i will leave this one for your viewing enjoyment for the time being – until next time :
