I have only had one opportunity to come close to some of the more ‘raw’ elements of nature. Specifically, when I was doing my iron butt from Manitoba back to British Columbia Canada on my 650 in 2010. Coming in to revel stoke, sheets of rain and while going through the mountain passes there were a couple of lightning sticks on the sides of the hills as we were going through. Not a great deal of fun.
All the writing was not fun, you have to appreciate how spectacular lightning is at the forces of nature. Watch this video and see-watch when the water breaks near the shore.
