Saturday saw a very early start on a wet, chilly day.

I always start getting my bike ready for riding season early enough that I’m not waiting in line behind everyone else that is scrambling to get their bikes on the road but also late enough that the weather isn’t crap. The problem? The last 2 years have been cold wet springs. Aka the weather is crap.

I left around 8am to light drizzle which stopped on the top of The Hump. Then started by the time I got to Bayview Custom Motorcycles I arrived around 8:50 a bit of a slow ride due to all the water and a bit of hydroplaning. Wow does that get your heat racing!!

The return trip wasn’t much better. Rain rain and rain again.

Here’s hoping that the weather changes for the better in the coming weeks.
