It never ceases to amaze me how people just do not get the internet and sharing information.  Over the past years we have seen people post pictures on social media sites to the detriment of their careers, lives and relationships with other people.  They think that if they only post something on a website and let a couple of people know, no one else will ever know about it.  Or they feel that the internet gives them anonimity to do whatever they wish to do.

Quite recently I came across a site where someone had posted some personal medical information, then placed a disclaimer on the bottom of the page that all the information was personal and confidential. Also, that no one was allowed to share the information without permission from the author.

This really does not make any sense to me at all. Either this person is operating under gross niavete or absolute ignorance.

Just remember the Golden Rule.  If you do not want anyone to know about it – DON’T POST IT.
