Once in a while I like to clean my bike. I mean REALLY clean my bike. Instead of the cursory quick wash the deep clean takes place. This is where Lady gets stripped right down. The leather adornments come off. The bags come off and she sits bereft of all her studs and casings.

This is when I discover how much damage is done to the limited edition paint job. I know it is the nature of riding that you get scratches and chips from rocks and debris – but it still goads me the same.

Today’s project is to work on some of the damage the bib has done to the tank.

I know. I know. It doesn’t look like much. Plus if I didn’t have the bib on it would be 10x worse – it still goads me.
