Thanks for sharing this article. My Sportster has tubed tires, and I’ve gone through several tire replacements and I’m sure the tubes were NOT replaced. I’ll definitely be looking into this.

Most of the time a good “rule of thumb” is to assume they haven’t. Unless the mechanic asks as the time of the tire change, just assume you have old tubes. As most motorcycle riders know, “to err on the side of caution” is always a good rule to follow when you’re life is depending on the machine..
